There was no difficulty in choosing a colour for the theme of this christening. It had to be pink! Bespoke invitations were created. A fairy was placed on to a pink tissue paper background and a hand tied pink bow completed the card. Detailed inserts were added giving guests all the relevant information for the day. After the church service, the christening guests enjoyed an afternoon tea of cucumber sandwiches and cream cakes on tables decorated with helium filled, pink, heart balloons. To keep little guests happy these were tied to silver buckets filled with pink and white marshmallows. At the end of the day, the children were delighted when they were told they could take the balloon buckets away as a going home present.
